410 stainless steel mesh features good corrosion resistance and is magnetic. 430 stainless steel mesh exhibits excellent stress corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance.
Both 410 and 430 stainless steel meshes have better thermal conductivity than austenitic stainless steel series, with a smaller coefficient of thermal expansion. They are resistant to thermal fatigue. With the addition of stabilizing element titanium, the mechanical properties of their weld seams are superior. They are also known as magnetically permeable stainless steel mesh, stainless steel wire mesh, and magnetically permeable stainless steel wire screen.
